Day-by-Day Itinerary
Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Boumalne Dades
Pickup at 07:30 AM from your Marrakech Riad. We drive over the high Tizi n'Tichka pass, taking in jaw-dropping views of Atlas peaks and remote Berber villages. We visit the historic UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou for a guided walking tour. Following lunch, we drive past Ouarzazate and through the scenic Valley of Roses. We head up the winding roads of Dades Gorges, checking in to Riad Gabsi Du Dades.
Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges - Tinghir - Merzouga (Camel Trek & Sahara Glamping)
After breakfast, we drive to the stunning Todra Gorges. Take a short, refreshing walk between the 300-meter-high rock canyon walls. We continue our route via Tinghir and Erfoud, stopping to inspect traditional fossil workshops. In the afternoon, we reach the dunes of Merzouga. After a brief rest, we mount camels and trek across the shifting sand dunes of Erg Chebbi during sunset. We arrive at Merzouga Glamping. Savor a traditional tagine dinner, gather around the campfire to enjoy live Berber drum music, and sleep in private nomad tents.
Merzouga Dunes - Rissani - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Rise early to climb a dune and witness an unforgettable Saharan sunrise. Ride camels back to Merzouga base for breakfast and showers. We start our return journey, visiting Rissani's traditional market. Our scenic drive takes us through the rugged Draa Valley, stopping for beautiful photos of palm oases. We stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, then ascend the High Atlas Mountains once more. Arrive back in Marrakech by roughly 07:30 PM, where we drop you off at your hotel.

Riad Gabsi Du Dades
A highly charming Riad featuring standard ensuite rooms, with heating, air conditioning, and a terrace overlooking the beautiful river gorges. Dinner is served in the main dining hall.
Merzouga Glamping
Beautiful private traditional wool tents nestled deep in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Complete with real wooden beds, comfortable mattresses, blankets, private chemical toilets, and hot shared showers.
Good To Know
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes for the gorges, and a warm jacket for cold desert nights.
We restrict our shared groups strictly to 7 travelers maximum per vehicle, allowing more room, faster stops, and personalized assistance.
Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free requirements are easily accommodated at both the Riad and desert camp.
